The Beatles-Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Alternate Version)

40 years ago today The Beatles released arguably their best album ever. Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band is at the top of virtually every reputable music magazine publications album list, and was ranked #1 on Rolling Stone's "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time" in 2003. One of the most innovative albums of all time, it has influenced countless musicians and spawned new styles of music and how its created. The album includes some of the most well known Beatles songs, including the title track, With A Little Help From My Friends, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, Getting Better, and When I'm Sixty-Four. Songs that were intended to be included but were ultimately cut from the final version are Strawberry Fields Forever, and Penny Lane. Even without those songs, this is the high point of The Beatles and continues to be a popular album at present day. This is the alternate Sgt. Peppers, with alternate takes, outtakes and studio conversation. This is a definite must have even if you aren't a passionate Beatles fan, it's just an all around enjoyable CD.
