Here are my top songs of 2007, some of them are fairly popular, but some of them are probably not well known by the majority of people. Hopefully some of you will find a new artist you can enjoy, which is the main goal of this blog. A few of the songs I hesitated to put on the mix because they were recorded well before 2007, but weren't released until then, but in the end they were just too good to leave off.

Feast Of Love Soundtrack

Enhancing the film's look at love which is simultaneously hilarious and bitteersweet, problematic and life altering is it's soundtrack, which features a masterful selection of music by today's top artists. Corinne Bailey Rae gets soulful with The New Masterminds on "Your Love Is Mine", Z-Trip vs. Run Run Run interpret the Mazzy Star classic "Fade Into You" and Cary Brothers delivers a hauntingly beautiful tune with "Honestly".

Cary Brothers-Who You Are

Last night I got the chance to catch the Cary Brothers show at Varsity Theater in Minneapolis. He rocked the house with songs from his new CD "Who You Are". He personally introduced his opening bands, Mother Mother & Stars Of Track & Field, which I thought was pretty cool. He puts on a great show, very energetic and funny. The last song he played was "Blue Eyes", and he had the opening groups come up and play it with him, which I thought was pretty cool. Unfortunately the only really good picture I have is the one above, just had bought a new camera so this was a test run. Anyways, here are some songs off his new record "Who You Are". Enjoy!
